On 29 Oct – 1 Nov 2019, KVC has been invited to join the Health Safety & Environment week 2019 organised by Sarawak Energy. The main objective is to create Health, Safety and Environment awareness amongst staff, contractors and visitors that are focusing on raising standards, nurturing culture and saving lives.
According to Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), the construction sector has the highest number of accidents that resulted in injury or even death Compared to other employment sectors. Death causes by falling in construction site has been reported as 37% which is 164/441 cases due to lack of alertness caused by the company. KVC was pleased to be invited to be part in this event to share the importance of fall protection when at heights or the construction area.
We had received overwhelming responses and have been the eye opener for all the contractors. It was our pleasure and we enjoyed many inspiring conversations throughout the event.
