The 3M Solution for Large Scale Solar Farm seminar was held on 7 December 2021 at Four Points by Sheraton Puchong with the aim of sharing the wealth of 3M Electrical Solutions in Large Scale Solar Farms. This seminar focuses on Medium Voltage (MV) Connectivity with product sample demos as well as an interactive knowledge sharing session.

 

This relevant seminar is well aligned with the Government of Malaysia’s initiative to reduce carbon footprint, dependency on coal and gas and meeting its renewable energy mix target of 20% by 2025. It is an initiative that accelerated the growth of Large-Scale Solar (LSS) farms in Malaysia and as 3M has been one of the world’s leading suppliers of electrical tapes and many other solutions for over 70 years, they are able to design and manufacture a comprehensive line of products that provide safe and reliable solutions for MV joints.

 

The event began with the opening speech from KVC’s Head of Solutions, Steven Ong and was then followed by the Product Introduction and Training by Jefferin Roda, 3M’s Senior Application Engineer. While complying with strict Covid-19 standard-operating procedures (SOP), the half day event was a success with an attendance of 56 people.
