KVC successfully supplied our customer, a premier transshipment port in Johor Bahru, with 33 units of Bosch fire alarm panels. As our customer prides themselves on being equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and information technology, they wanted to upgrade to a fully addressable system. Where efficiency and safety are paramount for any port, KVC understood and met the customer’s tight deadline of a six-month timeline by delivering a more responsive system that safeguards lives and assets.

This retrofit project combines a fully addressable fire alarm system with the power of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) technology, allowing the customer to monitor the entire port system. Each fire detection device is uniquely addressed, allowing the customer to precisely pinpoint fire incidents, enhancing safety in a busy port environment.

The seamlessly integrated SCADA technology provides centralised monitoring and control, allowing real-time oversight and rapid decision-making.
