news and events / 20210813 - Donation of Face Masks in East Malaysia

As the number of daily cases in Malaysia surges to an all-time high, KVC has once again made an effort to try to flatten the Covid-19 curve with multiple charitable contributions:

  • Che Hoe Khor Moral Uplifting Society Siburan, Sarawak (Face Masks - 12,000PCS)

This Chinese memorial center also serves as a sanctuary to the underpriviledged people. Some of these masks will be distributed to those in need, especially the rural communities.

  • The Salvation Army Kuching Children’s Home, Sarawak (Face Masks - 3,000PCS)

This Children’s Home is part of the The Salvation Army, an international charitable organization, and serves as a home for the local orphans. They have been in Kuching for more than 50 years. Their current facility accommodates more than 50 orphans and 11 volunteer staffs. They provide shelter, food and schooling as well as personal developments to these children.

Believing that each action counts againsts this Covid-19 battle, KVC is very glad to have been given the opportunity to help the disadvantaged communities and as we help each other, we hope that we get past this challenging time soon.
