Earthing & Lightning Protection System Health Check

Pertaining to the enforcement letter from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ref no: ST(IP/JKE)PE/16/14/2(1)) , all the Lightning Protection System design and installation must straightly follow MS IEC 62305 when comes to Building Protection Against Lightning.

Design method which recommended by the above said standard is Faraday Cage Method (known as conventional Lightning Protection System) per sample as below.

We will conduct a site testing by performing the Earth Resistance Test, Lightning Continuity Test and Visual Inspection for the existing Earthing & Lightning Protection system to understand the status of the system before provide any proposal. After understand on the current status of the existing system, our professional team will come out with an improving proposal that comply to MS IEC 62305 and also the enforcement letter from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

In order to fasten the system health check process, clients are recommended to provide the as-built lightning protection drawing for our study. There will be FREE mobility charges for the site testing within Klang Valley and additional mobility charges will be incurred for any site testing out of Klang Valley. Charges for site testing will be waived should client accept our proposal and agree to proceed with the enhancement works.
