At the first glance, the Intelligent Motor Control Solution looks like it has a higher setup cost than traditional ones but on the long run, it actually gives greater savings in terms of lesser unscheduled downtime, lesser wastage and more energy efficiency.

In Dec 2019, KVC completed a project with their client, an Industrial Cooling Specialist from the Northern region of Malaysia. The KVC team successfully supplied, installed and commissioned a total solution of Intelligent Motor Control at one of the largest cool chain warehouses located at Kajang, Selangor.

The goal of this project is to ensure that the customer has a sustainable cooling system which maintains optimal temperatures for the frozen products in their warehouse. Furthermore, via the Intelligent Motor Control, energy optimization can be assured without compromising the cooling process in the warehouse. This resulted in approximately 10% to 20% of energy saving.

The success factor for this Intelligent Motor Control solution is when the customer is able to maintain a cold, energy efficient cooling system that reduces wastage.
