To efficiently store goods in a warehouse is to store it vertically, but there are risks that comes with it. These risks include storing the items at height, ensuring that the goods do not fall over and how these items can be retrieved safely.

In the first quarter of 2021, the KVC Team has completed the commissioning for 2 units of Modula Lift Vertical Storage in a global leading photovoltaic manufacturer. The project was completed by our professional installation team which is certified by Modula. We also provided a consultant, M&E contractor, training as well as after sales service support.

KVC introduced the Modula Lift Vertical Storage solution to the customer as they wanted to implement Industry 4.0. This full turnkey solution enables the customers to not only have secure storage but to also enhance the organization of the items stored. It helps boost efficiency and productivity as their workflow process is simplified with less manual work and the high accuracy in picking items. Goods stored inside this vertical storage is safe from any unauthorised access or misplace as well as eliminating the risk of items that could fall on workers.

In addition to the Modula Lift Vertical Storage, KVC also supplied the Schneider APC Galaxy Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) which will protect the heavy investment assets like Modula due to any power outage. When interruption happens to the main power supply, the UPS will ensure that this sudden occurrence will not cause frictions in the mechanical parts of the machine which could result in serious damage to the mechanical systems. Moreover, the UPS also ensures that production is not impacted during these times.
