Long DescriptionThe exothermic welding process is a method of making electrical connections of copper to copper or copper to steel in which no outside source of heat or power is required. In this process, granular metals (granular copper oxide and aluminium) are placed from a container into a graphite crucible and ignited. Aluminium Oxide: Man-made abrasive which is extremely tough enabling high speed penetration of high tensile materials without causing excessive fracturing. This resistance to fracturing makes it a versatile material suitable for general sharpening and honing applications. Single Grit Aluminium Oxide. - For workshop use. Ideal for sharpening chisels, plain iron and virtually any metallic implements.
