Long Description	These units are part of a family of diffuse sensors that use the technique of Background Suppression to minimise the risk of false switching caused by reflected light from objects beyond the target. This is achieved using a method known as the 'Triangulation Principle' which, affectively, focusses the light beam onto the target at a preset distance. The reflected light is picked up by a series of receiving elements within the unit and an output is given.	A fiber pigtail is a single, short, usually tight-buffered, optical fiber that has an optical connector pre-installed on one end and a length of exposed fiber at the other end.
