To ensure equipment can be safety used in potentially explosive atmospheres, the hazardous areas where the equipment is installed must be known. Temperature class of equipment must be compared with the spontaneous ignition temperature of the gas mixtures concerned and its gas group must be known in specific cases (e.g. flame proof protection). Combustible dusts is hazardous as it can form potentially explosive atmospheres when dispersed in the air. Furthermore, layers of combustible dust may ignite and act as ignition source for an explosive atmosphere. They meet all relevant international standards, including IEC, European (EN), ATEX and NEMA, and the most important specification requirements for the oil and gas industry.Oval Shape. Chipbreaker fast stock removal for improved control and reduced chips for use on hard materials, i.e. steel alloy 50RC, 60RC, carbon and cast iron.The TLS-GD2 is a positive mode, tongue operated guard locking interlock switch that locks a machine guard closed until power is isolated and ensures that it remains isolated while the guard is open. It has three safety (N.C.) contacts and two auxiliary (N.O.) contacts. The TLS-GD2 head has two entry slots and it can be rotated to provide four actuator entry points. A blanking plug is provided to seat the unused slot. The guard may only be opened when a signal is applied to the TLSGD2 internal solenoid which releases the lock mechanism. This signal can be via CU1 electronic timer relays or CU2 stopped motion detectors. Therefore the TLS-GD2 is ideal for machines which do not stop immediately or where premature interruption of the machine could cause damage to tooling and components or cause an additional hazard.
