Long DescriptionThe CM-MSS.32S belongs to the CM-MSS thermistor motor protection relay range. It operates with a rated control supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC and has a 2 c/o (SPDT) output with contacts rated at 250 V / 4 A. It features one sensor circuit to monitor PTC temperature sensors and works according to the closed-circuit principle. The sensor circuit of this CM-MSS.32S is short-circuit, as well as interrupted-wire monitored and the relay can be reset automatically, manually or remotely after the failure has been removed. This protection relay is certified according to the ATEX directive 94/9/EC and is equipped with a reset / test button. A sealable transparent cover for protection against unauthorized changes is available as accessory. The device offers screw connection technology with double-chamber cage connection terminals.The NPT-150 is used for monitoring of temperature, for example temperature of pump bearings. The unit works in conjunction with a temperature sensor of type PT100 (DIN 43760) (not included). The trip point can be set by the temperature adjustment knob on the unit. The PT100 probe is connected to terminals 4, 5 & 6 on the NPT-150. There is also a setting for adjusting the delay before tripping from 0 to 10 sec. When the trip point is reached, the ON LED goes off; then after the set delay, the TRIP LED is lighted; and the contacts 11-8 close and 11-7 open.The DTR-A is sensitive to the resistance of thermistors connected to T1 - T2 and will detect overheating in motors, transformers, etc. The DTR-A has a variable trip point from 2.3KoHm to 3.3KoHm to accommodate different trip temperatures. The relay trips if the resistance of the thermistor exceeds the trip point. It will reset automatically when the probe resistance falls more than 1.4KoHm below the trip point. The DTR-A has a manual reset button. For remote manual reset, connect a normally open push-button to R1 - R2.
