When terminals 3-4 are opened, the contacts 8-6 will remain closed for an adjustable delay time before releasing.It is suitable for use to delay switching off electrical equipment and appliances when terminals 3-4 are opened. For example, if the TDF-V is connected to the key switch of a hotel room, removal of the key can be used open terminals 3-4 which will then switch off the room power supply after a suitable delay to allow the occupant to exit the room. The volt-free output contacts are rated at 5A 240VAC.
