Long DescriptionThe SIRIUS 3RW40 Basic Performance soft starters are suitable for soft starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors. Thanks to 2-phase control, not only is the current kept at minimum values in all three phases throughout the entire startup time, but disturbing direct current components are also eliminated. This not only enables the 2-phase starting of motors up to 55 kW (at 400 V) but also avoids the current and torque peaks which occur e.g. with wye-delta starters. The SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starters are suitable for the starting of explosion-proof motors with "increased safety" type of protection EEx e according to ATEX Directive 94/9/EC.This Altistart 22 soft starter can feed 3-phase asynchronous motors in supply line or delta connection. It has a rating of 480A and 230V to 440V, a rated power up to 250kW (400V to 440V in supply line) and up to 400kW (440V in motor delta connection). It is designed for simple and complex machines such as centrifugal and piston pumps, fans, screw compressors and material handling equipment. Slim form factor improves versatility; allows mounting in frames of any kind of machines. It features an Integrated bypass, this reduces noise and decreases heat dissipation. Compatibility with SoMove software allows configurations and settings to be easily transferred, meaning spares can be quickly installed. It provides smooth starting for your machinery, avoiding mechanical stresses and extending their service life.This Altistart 22 soft starter can feed 3-phase asynchronous motors in supply line connection. It has a rating of 17A and 230V to 440V, a rated power up to 7.5kW (400V to 440V in supply line) and up to 15kW (440V in motor delta connection). It is designed for simple and complex machines such as centrifugal and piston pumps, fans, screw compressors and material handling equipment.
