This module has an Add-on Profile and an Add-on Instruction to reduce commissioning time. The MVI69L-MBS has a single serial port and can support either Master or Slave connectivity to interface with a variety of devices using the Modbus Protocol.The MVI69-FLN module acts as a gateway between the FL-net network and the CompactLogix/MicroLogix backplane. The data transfer from the CompactLogix/MicroLogix processor is asynchronous from the actions on the FL-net network. The module’s internal database can be used to exchange Area 1 and Area 2 cyclic, network, and module status data between the processor and the FL-net network.
