Long DescriptionThe XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection of metal objects up to 60mm without physical contact. The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor. Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected. This general purpose threaded cylindrical (M12) inductive proximity sensor is made of metal and it is flush mountable. Its nominal sensing distance is 4mm, it supports 1 normally closed PNP discrete output and it has a switching frequency of 2500Hz. It works in a temperature range of -25°C and +70°C, it is dustproof and waterproof (IP68). It is made of metal. It measures 35mm (length) x 12mm (diameter) and weighs 0.07kg. It is suitable for railway, mobile equipment, lifts and escalators, hoisting, material handling, machine tools, packaging, food and beverage industries, and robotics. This sensor is certified UL and CSA. The main advantage of the inductive detection offered by the sensors of the XS range is that there is no physical contact with the object to be detected.This product is part of the XZ range, an offer of cordsets and connectors. This cable is made up of 3 wires and has a 3 pins M8 straight female connector with a metal collar. It is designed in polyvinyl chloride for general use. Its rated operational voltage is 60V/AC or 75V/DC and its nominal current is 3A. Its contact resistance is 5000µOhm and its minimum insulating resistance is 1GΩ. It is dustproof, resistant to water jets (IP65), and can be temporarily immersed in water (IP67). This cable has a length of 5m and a diameter of 4.6mm.
