Long Description	The exothermic welding process is a method of making electrical connections of copper to copper or copper to steel in which no outside source of heat or power is required. In this process, granular metals (granular copper oxide and aluminium) are placed from a container into a graphite crucible and ignited. This process is a cost effective method of completing a high quality electrical connection and is also simple to follow.	An extremely strong and rigid mount which reduces the effective length of the piston rod to that of the rod open length plus the distance from the gland to the front foot. Good for sheave block applications as long as the sheave block is guided.
