An undervoltage trip (UVT) will trip the MCCB automatically when voltage applied to the terminals of the undervoltage coil drops to between 70% and 35% of its voltage rating. The undervoltage trip prevents the MCCB being closed unless a voltage of at least 85% is applied across the terminals of the undervoltage coil.
