The ALLEN-BRADLEY 1203-USB is a USB to SCANport/DPI/DSI converter that provides full-duplex serial communication for programming and device interaction. It converts USB to RS-232 DF1 protocol, enabling connection to PowerFlex drives and Kinetix servo drives via DPI+, DSI, and SCANport interfaces. Compatible device families include PowerFlex DPI+ (7, Class and 750 series), DSI for PowerFlex 4 Class, PowerFlex 520 series and Kinetix 3, and SCANport on 1305 and 1336 modules. Designed for technicians and automation engineers, this converter is used to link a laptop or PC USB port to factory drives for configuration, troubleshooting, and firmware updates.
