Each sensor is housed by a stainless steel face and barrel which make the front of the sensor leakproof and significantly improve resistance to chemicals, cutting fluid, oils and abrasion. Mechanical seals are provided at all barrel openings. Full epoxy encapsulation provides protection against shock, vibration, and contamination.
