The ALLEN-BRADLEY 440N-Z2NRS1A is a non-contact safety switch that detects magnetic actuation for reliable machine guarding. Designed as a magnetically coded, 2 normally closed (2 N.C.) reed switch, it provides dependable contact sensing without mechanical wear. The standard actuator and standard code simplify installation and replacement in existing safety interlock applications. Supplied with a 3 m PVC cable and housed in a compact plastic small flat pack, it is suited for conveyor guards, access doors, and similar machinery where a sealed, non-contact safety switch is required for personnel protection and process control.
