The ALLEN-BRADLEY 1756-RM2 is a ControlLogix redundancy module that provides redundant fiber-optic communication for fault-tolerant control systems. It supports 1000 Mbits per second throughput with two fiber optic ports for In and Out connections and includes a 4-character alphanumeric display for status readout. Power consumption is specified at 1.16 A @ 5.1 VDC and 3.4 mA @ 24 VDC, and two modules are required per system to establish a redundant pair. Ideal for industrial ControlLogix racks that need high-speed fiber redundancy and on-module status indication for maintenance and diagnostics.
