PHASE FAILURE & PHASE SEQUENCE RELAY

The DSV-N detects the phase sequence and failure of a 3-phase 3-wire supply. The relay operates normally when phase sequence R-Y-B is correct and phase voltages are as rated. It will not ON if sequence is incorrect and will TRIP when one of the phase voltages drops to 60% of rated. This relay is suitable for mains or gen-set boards but is unsuitable for motor-starter boards as it is not designed to react to phase unbalance. The DSV-N has one set of tripping change-over contacts 11-14-12. Contacts 11-14 close under normal conditions and open upon failure or no supply conditions.
