The NPT-150 is used for monitoring of temperature, for example temperature of pump bearings. The unit works in conjunction with a temperature sensor of type PT100 (DIN 43760) (not included). The trip point can be set by the temperature adjustment knob on the unit. The PT100 probe is connected to terminals 4, 5 & 6 on the NPT-150. There is also a setting for adjusting the delay before tripping from 0 to 10 sec. When the trip point is reached, the ON LED goes off; then after the set delay, the TRIP LED is lighted; and the contacts 11-8 close and 11-7 open.
