These terminals comes with a ring on the end of the terminal is attached to a threaded stud and held in place with a nut. It is used to connect two or more wires to a single connection point, such as a circuit protection device. The insulation properties in the ring terminal provide a barrier from extreme heat and cold, and protects from dust, debris and corrosion so the wire connection can stand up to use for long periods of time.
