This Acti9 iPRD8 surge arrester protects 1P+N installations. It allows quick replacement of damaged cartridges. The Imax maximum discharge current is 8kA .The In nominal discharge current is 2.5kA. The iPRD8r ensures secondary protection of loads to be protected and is placed in cascade with the incoming surge arresters. This surge arrester is required when the loads to be protected are at a distance of more than 10 m from the incoming surge arrester. The Uc maximum continuous operating voltage in common mode is 260VAC between neutral and earth, and 350VAC between phase and earth. The Uc maximum continuous operating voltage in diiferential mode (between phase and neutral) is 350VAC. The Up Voltage protection level in common mode is 1.4kV between neutral and earth in type 2, and 1.1kV between neutral and earth in type 3. The Up Voltage protection level in differential mode (between phase and neutral) is 1kV in type 2, and 1.1kV in type 3. The Ue rated operational voltage is 230VAC +/- 10%. The product colour is white (RAL9003).The dimensions are (W) 36mm x (H) 85mm x (D) 69mm. The weight is 211g. The degree of protection is IP20 and IP40 in modular enclosure.
