The Mitutoyo 543-791B-10 ID-S ABSOLUTE Digital Indicator is a precision measuring instrument designed for dimensional inspection, comparative measurement, and quality control in manufacturing and metrology applications. Offering a 0–12.7 mm (0.5-inch) measuring range and 0.001 mm resolution, it delivers accurate, repeatable readings for checking component dimensions, runout, flatness, and alignment. Its ABSOLUTE electromagnetic inductive encoder retains the measurement origin, helping eliminate the need to reset the reference point each time the instrument is switched on.
