Available in aluminium oxide or silicon carbide, all stones can be used wet or dry to produce sharp cutting edges or to remove burrs. Aluminium Oxide: Man-made abrasive which is extremely tough enabling high speed penetration of high tensile materials without causing excessive fracturing. This resistance to fracturing makes it a versatile material suitable for general sharpening and honing applications. Single Grit Aluminium Oxide. - For workshop use. Ideal for sharpening chisels, plain iron and virtually any metallic implements.
