The Murrelektronik 7000-14521-0000000 is an M12 male field-wireable connector used for industrial Ethernet CAT5/CAT5e connections. It uses a 4-pin D-coded layout that supports 100 Mbit/s full duplex data transmission. The connector uses IDC (insulation displacement) termination, allowing conductors to be inserted directly without stripping or soldering. It accepts wire sizes from 26 to 22 AWG and cable outer diameters from 4.5 mm to 8.8 mm. The housing is rated IP65/IP67 when properly mated, providing protection against dust and water ingress.
